This document contain the news about MACRO rel. 1.2 developed from us tailored on our customer needs.

More specifically, new functions and improvements and fixes of already existing macro will be introduced.

The optimized function to quickly create the needed bend reliefs on an edge.

With 2 simple clicks this macro creates two relief on the edge, needed to correctly unfold a sheet metal part. It is also possible to increase the relief dimensions in case the bends have a particular orientation or the piece has an inner radius bigger than its thickness.

The optimized function to quickly create more vertex reliefs.

This macro is used to add multiple rectangular reliefs on the selected vertexes. User only need to select the points where holes are needed and type their dimension.

The function that allows you to create a gap between differents merged bends of a sheet metal part.

This macro allows to separate a single solid into 2 shapes as from the first picture, but even to add a gap on one or more closed bend.

The function which allows you to merge two different shapes in a single sheet metal component.

This macro is used to quickly merge 2 different shapes, even if they haven’ t the standard sheet metal propriety and they haven’ t any edge/face in common eachother. The goal will be to convert them into a single sheet metal component, for exemple adding the bends radius.

This function allows you to delete a couple of bend (internal-external) with one single click.

This macro is used to delete a couple of bend with one single click but it can works with any face. In case the selected face is a radius, it won’ t be completely deleted, but converted into a sharp edge, as from the pictures below.
